๐ Weekly Policing Update โ Central Beat Team ๐ Itโs been another busy and productive week for your local officers, with a focus on training, proactive policing, and community engagement. ๐ฎ Officer Development & Training PC Dean has spent the first part of the week enhancing his operational skills, completing Method of Entry training. This equips him to safely and effectively support warrant executions and other operational incidents, helping to protect both the public and officers. He has also trained on the use of the intoxilyser, strengthening our ability to secure vital evidence against those who choose to drive under the influence and keeping our roads safe. ๐ Operation Eye Spy On Thursday, Central Beat Team officers joined colleagues from across the area for Operation Eye Spy, a proactive day of policing activity. This resulted in several stop searches, with appropriate action taken where offences were identified. ๐ Night Time Economy Patrols On Friday and Saturday night, the team were out supporting the night time economy, working to keep people safe and identify issues early. These patrols are a routine part of our shift pattern, ensuring we remain visible and able to intervene where needed to prevent harm or disorder. ๐ฒ Community Engagement Our PCSOs have been busy throughout the week carrying out Bike Register events, patrolling the beat, and attending community engagementsโhelping to prevent crime and connect with residents. Thank you to everyone who continues to engage with and support your local policing team. If you see us out and about, please come and say hello ๐ |
